What these terms cover

These Terms of Service are the binding agreement between ConsentPlix Private Limited and any customer that subscribes to or embeds ConsentPlix. They cover your licence to use the SDK, our 99.99% availability commitment and service credits, the integrity warranty on sealed receipts, GST invoicing, and Indian governing law.

Acceptance and parties

These Terms of Service ("Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between ConsentPlix Private Limited ("ConsentPlix", registered in Porbandar, Gujarat, India) and the individual or legal entity subscribing to or embedding ConsentPlix services ("Customer", "you"). By creating an account, generating an API key, or embedding our JavaScript SDK on any production domain, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Licence and SDK usage

Subject to the terms of your subscribed tier (Starter, Growth, or Enterprise), ConsentPlix grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to embed our JavaScript SDK (consent.min.js) on your authorised registered domains.

You agree not to reverse engineer, tamper with, or intentionally inject fabricated cryptographic receipts into our ledger endpoints.

Service level agreement (99.99%)

ConsentPlix commits to 99.99% monthly availability for our embed CDN distribution and receipt ingestion endpoints. If monthly availability falls below this threshold, customers are entitled to service credits as follows:

  • Below 99.99% down to 99.90%: 10% monthly service credit
  • Below 99.90% down to 99.00%: 25% monthly service credit
  • Below 99.00%: 50% monthly service credit

Cryptographic proof warranty

ConsentPlix warrants that every consent receipt signed with HMAC-SHA256 and committed to a published Merkle checkpoint cannot be altered retroactively without detection. In the event of a regulatory inquiry or audit by the Data Protection Board of India or comparable authorities, ConsentPlix will furnish verifiable proof bundles demonstrating record authenticity.

Invoicing, taxes and GST

All prices displayed on the pricing page are exclusive of applicable Indian Goods and Services Tax (GST) at 18% (SAC Code 998313). Customers providing a valid GSTIN at the time of subscription will receive compliant B2B tax invoices within 3 days of payment.

Dispute resolution and jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

When do these terms apply?

When you create an account, generate an API key, or embed the ConsentPlix SDK on any production domain.

What happens if availability drops below 99.99%?

You receive a service credit of 10%, 25% or 50% of the monthly fee depending on how far availability fell, as set out in the SLA section.

Are prices inclusive of GST?

No. Plan prices (Starter ₹399/mo, Growth ₹999/mo, and custom Enterprise) are exclusive of 18% GST. Provide a GSTIN to receive B2B tax invoices.

Which law governs these terms?

The laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
